Darkened Destroyers are stronger versions of Iron Equalizers, encountered in the Sky Eater. They shoot energy blasts instead of missiles, and most of them come in large sizes, unlike Iron Equalizers which come in rare occasions in large form. They have more health and deal more damage and unlike Iron Equalizers, Darkened Destroyers cannot only be encountered on the ground, but on ceilings aswell.
Four Darkened Destroyers appear above the Sky Vehicle Docking Area of the Sky Eater. These have to be taken out in the Sky Vehicle Zone, so that the landing area is safe to land on.
