Push and Pull are the gifts of the Ancients implemented in the Vault of the Ancients. This ability is used to get to the Dark Rift Engine. With this magic, the Skylanders can attract objects and enemies towards themselves or repel them away. According to Pluck, red is the natural color for Push, while the color blue is for Pull.
In Skylanders: Imaginators, in the Lost Imaginite Mines, there is an similar ability called Magnet. The effect of Push and Pull is reversed due to the Magnets around the crystal.
