Trivia

  • Giant Trog Pinchers (i.e., Trog Punctures) are often confused for Crystal Golems without crystals. However, there are notable differences between the two enemies; Trog Pinchers are lighter, have no hands, and attack differently.
  • Giant Trog Pinchers were also called Trog Punctures in the game's alpha versions. They even had an unused Skystone, which was identical to that of the Trog Wanderers.[1] This Skystone confirms the Trog Puncture (and probably also the Pincher's) element to be Undead.
  • In Giants's alpha, Trog Pinchers have a broken intro cutscene and reuse the models of Rhu-Babies.[2]
  • There are some Trog Punctures that are naturally big without the help of a Trogmander, most common in Heroic Challenges.
