Trog Punctures are enlarged versions of the Trog Pinchers that appear in the Lost City of Arkus, frequently in Heroic Challenges and in the Crystal Caverns. Trog Pinchers can be transformed into Trog Punctures by Trogmanders, significantly increasing their health and damage output. If the Trogmander is defeated, they shrink down to Trog Pinchers again. There are natural Trog Punctures, which werent transformed by Trogmanders. These are found in some Heroic Challenges, at the end of the Chapter Lost City of Arkus and in the Crystal Caverns in Swap Force.
Trog Punctures attack by approaching the Skylanders and striking with their massive pincers. Their attack patterns and function are very similar to those of the Rhu-Barbs from Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.
Near the end of Lost City of Arkus, there are two Trog Punctures that remain transformed even if the nearby Trogmanders are defeated.
Trog Punctures are often confused with Crystal Golems without crystals. However, there are notable differences between the two enemies; Trog Pinchers are lighter, have no hands, and attack differently.Trog Puncture's skystone which would later go unused in the final version.
In the game's alpha versions. Trog Punctures had an Unused Skystone, which was identical to that of the Trog Wanderer.
There are some Trog Punctures that are naturally big without the help of a Trogmander, these are found most commonly in Heroic Challenges.
