Darkened Destroyers are stronger Iron Equalizers. Four large Iron Equalizers have to be taken out in the Sky Vehicle Section of the Sky Eater so that the landing area was safe to land on. They appear at the side from the road and in the land vehicle combat areas in the Land Vehicle Section and need to be taken out in the Sea Vehicle Section where they are above the barricades of the pipes to the Hydra Hatchling. Smaller Ultimate Equalizers are encountered on the shifting walls in the Land Vehicle section of the Sky Eater.

- Darkened Destroyers are with Iron Equalizers, Spirit Wings and Dark Gliders are the only Enemies which can be encountered in all 3 Vehicle section types.
