The Doom Raiders are the main antagonists in the first season of the Skylanders Academy television series.
History
The Doom Raiders are one of the most notorious gangs in Skylands, incarcerated in Cloudcracker Prison before the events of the show.
The past of some members are known, with Wolfgang being a former cadet at Skylanders Academy and Chef Pepper Jack used the be finest chef in Skylands. They then both went down the path of villainy for their own reasons; Wolfgang's egotism got the best of him that he seeks fame for himself and abuses his musical abilities to hynoptize people into adoring him as well as cause anarchy while Pepper Jack, on his own accord, decided to use his culinary skills for evil and to cause pain to everyone on both the inside and outside.
In Season 1, the Doom Raiders were unwittingly released when the new team of Skylanders accidentally sent to the prison's confinement area, allowing the villains to escape through a wormhole they created. They wrecked havoc in various places and attacked Skylanders Academy multiple times, working together or alone.

- In the original games, Broccoli Guy was not a Doom Raider but a regular villain. Him being part of the Doom Raiders in the Academy canon was a creative choice by showrunner Eric Rogers based on design and what that kind of character would be as a member of a gang. Broccoli Guy is the personification of a bland broccoli, and Eric stated there was something extremely funny about the idea that this really annoying guy would be a member of the most lethal and feared gang in all Skylands.[1]
- Dr. Krankcase is the only Doom Raider from the games who hasn't made an appearance nor been mentioned in the Academy TV series as of Season 1.
- The Gulper was mentioned in The Hole Truth, though it is unknown if he is part of the Doom Raiders in this canon.
- The Gulper and Dr. Krankcase were characters planned for Season 2, but were cut due to budget reasons.[2]
