Fire Spell Punks are Fire elemental Spell Punks introduced in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, first appearing in Lava Lakes Railway. They are identified by their red robes.

Abilities

In Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. Fire Spell Punks have the ability to lay down a fuse from a barrel and create and hide in another one. Once hidden, it lights the fuse, causing a massive explosion that deals heavy damage to the Skylanders. If not defeated quickly, they can continuously set up powerful explosions. The barrels can be destroyed before the explosion is set off, which stops the fuse and prevents the blast.

In Skylanders: SuperChargers, and Skylanders: Imaginators Fire Spell Punks attack by firing two fireballs towards the Skylanders.

In Skylanders: Battlecast, Fire Spell Punks have the ability to Flamecraft, summoning two Fire Elemental Spell Cards, and always carry a Flame Wand, which allows them to attack alongside such spells.

Trivia

• There is a glitch in Spyro’s Adventure where the Fire Spell Punk that appears with the two Lava Kings guarding one of the narrow pathways with fireballs in Lava Lakes Railway may fall off the pathway and get stuck in the lava below. It will attempt to get back up, but will just fly underneath the pathway into the side of the platform it connects to instead. It can only be hit by certain projectile attacks if this happens.
• In the PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360 version of Spyro's Adventure, Fire Spell Punks can be defeated in a single hit, but do a damaging explosion once defeated.
• The Official Strategy Guide for Spyro's Adventure claims that the Fire Spell Punk deals 157 damage instead of 100 damage.
• The Flamecraft spell card art appears to have a Fire Spell Punk summoning a Trial By Fire.
• In SuperChargers, the Fire Spell Punk's design has changed to the design of the Time Spell Punks from Skylanders: Swap Force instead of keeping their red color.
