Black Chompies?
The other day I played Thumpback's Heroic Challenge and saw there were black chompies and armoured black chompies. Does anyone know more things about them?

Tsk tsk, yeah. Why is there a Purple Chompies page then, if they are in ONE heroic challenge and black chompies are in MORE THAN ONE... I don't get it.

There is also another breed of chompies: RED chompies that bite like normal chompies, but are not enfuego. I found some in the ledges of Kaos' castle. PhazonMario950 (talk) 15:09, April 10, 2013 (UTC)

SuperCharger Chompies
i have noticed that there might be two versions of the Chompies in the SuperCharger game, from what little we do see of the Chompies, the small ones do look like the ones from Swap Force, but a little different, then you have another version like the king Chompie from the first stage in the prison, which looks like a mix of both the old and Swap Force design.
What i am trying to say here is that SuperCharger might be the second game where the Chompies appearance have been alterd a little.

- Ten pictures in the article is quite enough. There's not exactly a huge amount to show of them, and plenty of other articles have much fewer pictures-efforts would be much better spent on those. TechSkylander1518 (talk) 02:21, December 26, 2016 (UTC)
Plant or animal?
As chompies are spawned from plants, shouldn't that make them plants as well? TechSkylander1518 (talk) 03:45, January 12, 2017 (UTC)
- We don't really know if they do photosynthesis or have leaf-like skin. This being Skylands, we can't be sure they work like real life animals, even with the thorn arms. HauntedLorene (talk) 10:51, January 12, 2017 (UTC)
