Pirate Grotto
World Type: Arena
Residents: Seadog Pirates
Appears in: Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure
Skylanders: Giants
Skylanders: Lost Islands

The Pirate Grotto is a Battle Arena unlocked with the Pirate Seas Adventure Pack. This arena is circular with a main ground level, higher stone level, and a sunken pier. Pirate Grotto has five Bounce Pads and two Teleporters. The Teleporters send Skylanders to the north of the map, next to one of the Hazard Activators.

Description

Pirate Grotto is a small, sandy cove nestled between two island cliffs. A ring of stone borders the arena, which is itself ringed by water and surrounded by a horde of lost items such as jaws, life preservers, treasure chests, and colorful sea plants. A partially cloudy blue sky permeates the arena with daylight, making it brighter than most other battle arenas.

Arena Hazards

There are two Hazard Activators in this arena. Once triggered, a naval bombardment begins. Skylanders should watch for yellow crosshairs on the ground level and stay out of the way of incoming fire.[1]

Other game appearances

In Skylanders: Lost Islands, Pirate Grotto is one of the locations to which Skylanders can adventure. It is unlocked for all Earth Skylanders of Hero Rank 8 and above, and Adventures there take twenty-two hours and 4,200 Energy, rewarding 1,750 Hero Points and 15,500 Gold.
