Pirate Cards is a Minigame in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure and Skylanders: Giants.

Story

Dreadbeard and his crew invaded Pirate Seas and forced everyone to play the game took all treasures from the Island. The Skylanders freed the Shipmaster and Mayor LeGrand from the pirates by playing the game. Later the Skylanders freed Jess LeGrand with the final game of Pirate Cards against Dreadbeard, after she got captured. In the Wii and Wii U version, after Kaos has been defeated, a Gillman with a pirate card minigame will appear next to the docked ship in the Ruins. The deck that you play with will always be randomized.

Gameplay

Pirate Cards is an match 2 card game, but with an time limit and some cards having special effects. In the Pirate Seas Level each round gets more cards.

Differences between the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC Versions with the Wii, Skylanders Giants and Wii U Versions

  • The Cards in the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC Versions are smaller.
  • The Ghost in Xbox 360, PS3 and PC Versions is different.
