Pirate Cards

Pirate Cards is a minigame in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure and Skylanders: Giants.

Story

Captain Dreadbeard and his pirate crew invaded Pirate Seas and forced everyone to play the game of pirate cards. After the inhabitants lost the game, the pirates took over the island and stole all treasure. The Skylanders freed the Shipmaster and Mayor LeGrand from the pirates by playing a series of Pirate Card games, driving each pirate crew member away. Eventually they freed Jess LeGrand after beating the final game of Pirate Cards against Dreadbeard. In the Nintendo Wii and Wii U versions, after Kaos has been defeated, a Gillman with a pirate card minigame will appear in the dock area of the Ruins. The deck that you play with will always be randomized.

Gameplay

Pirate Cards is a 2-player card game, but with a time limit. In the Pirate Seas Level, each round grants each player more cards.

Differences between the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC Versions with the Wii, Skylanders Giants and Wii U Versions

• The Cards in the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC Versions are smaller.
• The Ghost in Xbox 360, PS3 and PC Versions is different.
