Drow Lance Masters are a new variant of Drow Spearmen that appear in the console version of Skylanders: Giants and later in the 3DS version of Skylanders: Trap Team. They attack using their spears by lancing at their targets. They can also come armored, which takes more hits to destroy. They are commonly accompanied by Drow Archers.

- In the alpha versions of Giants, Drow Lance Masters reuse the models of the Drow Spearmen unique to the Wii version of Treetop Terrace. Their original description was, "The ears aren't the only pointy thing." [1]
- The Drow Lance Masters in the Monastery of Waking, have an spinning and an dizzy animation, which is normally only used by the Nightmare Villains instead of regular enemies, are only seen in that level.
- This could mean Drow Lance Masters were planned to have an Nightmare Villain counterpart.
- The Drow Lance Masters in Skylanders: Trap Team have an similar design to the Ninja Drow Spearmen seen in Samurai Islands.
