Drow Lance Masters are a new variant of Drow Spearmen that appear in Skylanders: Giants. They attack using their spears by lancing at their targets. They can also come armored, which takes more hits to destroy. They are commonly accompanied by Drow Archers.
Trivia
- In the alpha versions of Giants, Drow Lance Masters reuse the models of the Drow Spearmen unique to the Wii version of Treetop Terrace. Their original description was, "The ears aren't the only pointy thing." [1]
- In the Nintendo 3DS version of Skylanders: Trap Team, the Drow Lance Masters have a spinning and dizzy animation that are only seen once in the Monastery of Waking; those two animations are typically only used for Nightmare Villains which may imply the Drow Lance Master was originally going to have a Nightmare Villain counterpart.
- The Drow Lance Masters in Skylanders: Trap Team have a similar if not the same exact design as Ninja Drow Spearmen (except their spears are much longer).
