Owls are a rarely seen species of brown birds. They first appear in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure at Falling Forest, where they behave similarly to other birds, flying away when approached by the Skylanders.
In Skylanders: Giants, multiple Owls must be rescued and returned to their nests in Crusher's Heroic Challenge, Give A Hoot.
In Skylanders: Swap Force, a similar species called Screechers reside in Fantasm Forest. Some Screechers became Evilized during Kaos' attack on the forest. Additionally, Hoot Loop, an anthropomorphic Owl, is a member of the SWAP Force.
Owls also appear in Skylanders: Imaginators outside of The Golden Arcade.
