Talk:Swarm

From Skylanders Wiki

Swarm's Soul Gem & Location

His soul gem is "Bee is for Butt Stinger" and it is in Cutthroat Carnival.

excuse me

Does he just not HAVE a catche phrase, or is it just buzzing or does nobody know it or what? i just wanna know cause I'm getting him for Christmas and if it's just that no one knows, I'll gladly fill it in. Just wanna know Grigarem the Devious (talk)

I believe his official catch phrase, according to his preview, is "Bring the Sting!" -R.G. (talk) 18:15, December 26, 2012 (UTC)

Trivia

I have something to add to trivia: he is the only air skylander that is not blue! Sadly, I cannot add it...I'd just be stating the obvious anyways, huh? RangetsuRabbit (talk) 04:03, December 30, 2012 (UTC)

Picture Takedown

Does anyone know why his picture was taken down? Because i have it if it needs to be re-added - Success Is My Middle Name! Pop-Success-Fizz (talk) 11:39, September 18, 2013 (UTC)

Two Things

1· Can't we just find out who Swarm's voice actor is? For crying out loud I wanna know! Flippinawesome (talk) 23:22, October 24, 2013 (UTC)

Well, how do you propose we find out his voice actor? It's not as though it's just written down somewhere that the wiki is just hiding from you, it's a bit more than "just finding it out", or we would have it already. Why is it so important? [[User:TechSkylander1518]

So we can post it on the site so users and others will know who voices him. I also forgot the second thing. I don't really see the urgency in this, just putting it up on the wiki to have others know was pretty much what you asked to do with this information, I don't think just knowing prioritizes it that much. User:TechSkylander1518 2. I'm pretty sure that Swarm is a wasp. Not a bee. Flippinawesome (talk) 16:42, October 25, 2013 (UTC)

Swarm has been confirmed to be a bee in his back story. User:TechSkylander1518

I just went to Wikipedia and found that Swarm is really voiced by Dan Povenmire. If you want to know all the other voice actors, go to the List of Skylanders characters on Wikipedia. The actors (and the species) should be there. Flippinawesome (talk) 18:57, November 8, 2013 (UTC)

That wiki page is purely fan-made, not reliable. -- Aura24 (talk) 19:22, November 8, 2013 (UTC)

Really? That's a WIKIPEDIA page. Not a wiki page. Wikipedia's ALWAYS right. If it WAS fanon, it wouldn't even be ON Wikipedia. Flippinawesome (talk) 20:04, November 9, 2013 (UTC)

I'm guessing you're pretty clueless right now. ANYONE can edit a wiki page and add what they think is right. -- Aura24 (talk) 20:34, November 9, 2013 (UTC)
Again, if it was fanon, it wouldn't be there, cause it would've been removed. Plus it's official. Flippinawesome (talk) 19:17, November 10, 2013 (UTC)
If that was the case, then a page about Spyro on Wikipedia that can be edited ANYONE, that has Spyro's species as a 'dragon-pug' would be official right away. No official proof besides Wikipedia, no adding in the voice actor. Simple as that, I don't see why you out of all the users here have to complain about such little things. -- Aura24 (talk) 19:58, November 10, 2013 (UTC)

But he really is voiced by Dan Povenmire. Same with other guys. Wikipedia is NOT fanon. Once again, if something fanon is posted there, it'll be removed the next thing you know.Flippinawesome (talk) 18:51, November 26, 2013 (UTC)

It could be a Wikipedia vandalism from an inexperianced user. Black Rhino Ranger (Or BRR for short) (talk) 19:10, November 26, 2013 (UTC)

Then again, it wouldve been removed by an administrator. Flippinawesome (talk) 16:03, December 26, 2013 (UTC)

Or they thought the person who added it had found a source and didn't bother to check. TechSkylander1518 (talk) 19:52, December 26, 2013 (UTC)

Or they could've looked for a source to prove it.  Plus, about the "bee" thing. Wasps have nests too. And worker bees are all female. Swarm is male. Plus, I didn't see the word "bee" in his backstory.Flippinawesome (talk) 20:24, December 28, 2013 (UTC)

I don't see any source on the page. Swarm makes a lot of bee puns and no wasp puns. The only time wasps are mentioned at all with him are in his secondary attack. And it doesn't say Swarm is a worker bee, either, or that whatever type of bee his is is exactly the same as a species from Earth. TechSkylander1518 (talk) 01:45, December 29, 2013 (UTC)

The longer you use Wikipedia the more you realize a ton of it is based upon who decides to work on what. I have ran into a ton of errors myself that either get fixed over time or just left as official based on who uses the pages.WickedRogue (talk) 12:36, December 29, 2013 (UTC)
It's still tearing my mind up right now. It's been nearly half a decade, and we still don't know. Forget Wikipedia. I was pretty brainless about Wikipedia when I first posted this. Sorry about this trouble. And just so you know, I changed the species to Hynemopteran (is that how it's spelled?), the family bees and wasps belong to.
