Trivia

  • In-game, it incorrectly says 'Spiderling', leaving out the S.
  • Though they're identical in model and behavior to Skitterbooms, Spiderlings are slightly different in textures because of the graphical updates in Giants, where they display more vibrant colors and a lighter shade of green.
  • Unlike in the console series and card art, in Battlecast, a Spiderling has eight legs like a real spider instead of four.
  • Large Spiderlings appear in the Earth Elemental Gate of Operation: Troll Rocket Steal, carrying leaf platforms for the player. These Spiderlings appear to be docile and harmless, unlike their hostile counterparts.
  • Spiderlings were originally referred to as Spider Swarmers in early versions of Giants, a holdover from the similar enemies in the XPEC versions of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.
