Story
In the Crash Bandicoot franchise, Aku Aku was a powerful witch doctor who fought evil even before his death, when he placed his spirit inside the mask. After encountering Crash in the first game, he decided to help the bandicoot in his adventures.

Aku Aku coordinated the Synchronization Celebration, in which Skylands converged with the Wumpa Islands every 20 years. Though the festivities in the island seemed normal at the start and his greatest worries were Crash partying at the wrong side, Dr. Neo Cortex and Fake Crash's meddlings disrupt the Good Vibes of the islands and the Bad Vibes now threaten to shake them apart.
