In ''[[Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure]]'', he is the second of three bosses fought at the end of [[Lava Lakes Railway]], where he and the other [[Evil Pyro Archer|two]] [[Evil Eruptor|minions]] must be defeated in order to collect the [[Eternal Sources#Eternal Fire Source|Eternal Fire Source]]. The Evil Phoenix Dragon also appears during the final battle with Kaos at [[Lair of Kaos|Castle Blackthrone]].


This dark version of Sunburn breathes a deadly stream of fire. He can teleport near available [[Skylanders]] and leave a burning disc under their feet.
The Evil Phoenix Dragon makes another appearance in ''[[Skylanders: Giants]]'', this time in the Phoenix Rising area of [[Glacier Gully]] within the [[Fire]] [[Elemental Gate]] accompanied by [[Enfuego Chompy|Enfuego Chompies]].
