Life Spell Punks are Spell Punks that wield the power of the Life element.

Abilities

Throughout the Skylanders series, the Life Spell Punk's primary ability is healing other enemies during combat. Apart from that, Life Spell Punks are also used by Blitzer Bullies as 'health benefits' to heal themselves when they take damage. Armored Punks wear protective armor and are the only type of Spell Punk to wear this variant. Life Ace Spell Punks are Life Spell Punks on vehicles, that heal enemies in vehicle zones.

In Skylanders: Swap Force, they still heal enemies but if you defeat the enemies first, they will shoot a blast of Life energy from their hands.

Battlecast Abilities

In Skylanders: Battlecast, Life Spell Punks have the ability to Seedcraft, summoning two Life Elemental Spell Cards, and always carry a Seed Wand, which allows them to attack alongside such spells.

Trivia

  • In Treetop Terrace, there is a Life Spell punk and some Drow Spearmen in front of a Bounce Pad that launches Skylanders high into the air where they will land on a platform above. If the Spearmen are defeated, but not the Spell Punk, it will fly back and forth, and, when flying backwards, it will fly over the bounce pad, sending it flying into the air up to the platform above, where it will continue to go backwards a bit before going forwards again and falling off the platform, only to repeat the process and end up on the upper platform again. Amusingly, the bounce pad may also launch the poor wizard out of the level entirely, causing it to plummet into the void for a bit before dying instantly.
  • In the Official Strategy Guide for Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, the Life Spell Punk is said to be able to deal 87 damage, despite having no attacks capable of dealing direct damage to a Skylander.
  • In the Wii version of Spyro's Adventure, Life Spell Punks can heal 40 HP of damage, while in the PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360 version, they can only heal 30 HP of damage.
  • Life Spell Punks are the only type of Spell Punk that appears in Skylanders: Giants.
  • Very strangely, in Giants, Life Spell Punks will heal sheep, even though they are invincible, do not count as enemies, and do not attack.
  • Even more strangely, "Life" Spell Punks are of the Magic Element in Giants, according to the Skystone.
  • In Motherly Mayhem, a Life Spell Punk is the only enemy fought that is not Evilized.
  • Life Spell Punks are present in five of the six mainline games in the series, the only exception being Trap Team, where they are replaced by Broccoli Guys.
  • Seedcraft is one of the three Spell Punk card in Skylanders: Battlecast to use the Vicarious Visions games' appearance (seen in Swap Force, SuperChargers, and Imaginators), despite the in-game models having the other version seen in Spyro's Adventure and Giants. The other cards are Grave Danger and Stormcraft.
  • Although Armored Punks do not receive their own introduction in Giants, alpha versions of the game announce them properly as "Armored Punks." They even have an unused description: "Enemy Medic with armor." [1]
  • In Skylanders: Giants, Life Spell Punks use higher pitched Drow Lance Master sounds, Elf Healers also share these sounds with Life Spell Punks
