Armored Black Chompies are Black Chompies that wear helmets in Skylanders: Giants. They only appear in Thumpback's Heroic Challenge, The King's Breech. They are identical to regular Armored Chompies, except for their appearance. Just like their counterparts, their armor must be broken before they take direct damage.
