The only way to fight them off is with the castle's cannons, but when the soldiers when out for cannonballs, they were captured. Rescue the soldiers, get the cannonballs, and fire the cannons! Maybe through your heroism, the Capybara King will find his voice.”

The King's Breech is a Heroic Challenge in Skylanders: Giants that is unlocked by Thumpback. In this challenge, the objective is to rescue 8 Mabu soldiers and use cannonballs to defeat 8 Arkeyan Shield Juggernauts in under 3 minutes and 25 seconds.

The challenge takes place at the Capybara King's castle, which has been invaded by Arkeyans. The Mabu soldiers are captured in three different parts outside the castle. The player must retrieve keys to unlock each area where the soldiers are held. Once rescued, the Mabu soldiers will carry the cannonballs to the castle.

After all the Mabu soldiers are freed, a cutscene will play, and the 8 Arkeyan Juggernauts will begin to slowly approach the castle. The Mabu soldiers will place the cannonballs in the center, and the player can pick them up one at a time. The castles 8 cannons must then be loaded with these cannonballs to defeat the Juggernauts. Each cannon will break after firing, requiring the player to pick up another cannonball and reload the next cannon. The player must defeat all of the 8 Arkeyan Juggernauts in order to complete the challenge.

Trivia

• This is the only place where you find Armored versions of Black Chompies.
• Eight uniquely colored Arkeyan Shield Juggernauts appear in the challenge. These variants, which include black, pink, purple, white, orange, blue, yellow, and green, do not carry shields.
• The title of the challenge is a play on The King's Speech.
