The Sky Is Falling

“Our good friends, the Trolls, are at it again. This time they stole some antique vases and have brought them to this battlefield for target practice. Your mission is to destroy their big cannon but first, use it to your advantage by letting it knock out the barricades. Just make sure you don't break any vases in the process.”

The Sky Is Falling is a Heroic Challenge in Skylanders: Giants, unlocked by Pop Fizz. The objective is to destroy the Trolls big Battlement Cannon within a time limit of three minutes and twenty seconds.

Throughout the challenge, the player is constantly targeted by the Battlement Cannon, which periodically fires explosive rounds across the map. The cannon's blasts can be used strategically, as they are capable of destroying barriers and rocks as well as damaging enemy Trolls. While most Skylanders must rely on the cannon to destroy rocks blocking the path, the rocks can also be destroyed more quickly using attacks from Earth Skylanders.

Scattered across the battlefield are antique vases that the Trolls have stolen and repurposed for target practice. If any vase is broken—whether by the player or by the cannon—ten seconds will be subtracted from the timer. Avoiding damage to these vases is critical to conserving time.

Around halfway through the challenge, the Battlement Cannon will stop firing, and the Skylander must find a bomb to destroy a wall blocking further progress. Alternatively, a Giant Skylander can smash through the wall directly, allowing the challenge to continue more quickly.

The player must navigate through enemy resistance and obstacles while avoiding vase damage and closing in on the cannon. Once the Skylander reaches the cannon and destroys it, the challenge is complete.

• This challenge was originally called Artilery (misspelled without one of the l's), and it reused Molekin Mountain's music. Destroyed a vase initially removed 20 seconds rather than 10.
• The title is a reference to the catch phrase of the European folk tale, Chicken Little (also known as "Henny Penny").
