Baking With Batterson is a Heroic Challenge in Skylanders: Giants, unlocked by Shroomboom. In this challenge, the player must collect eight unique ingredients for Batterson within a time limit of five minutes.

The ingredients are scattered across raised platforms and elevated areas, requiring the player to use bounce pads or push Turtles and blocks to reach them. Additionally, there are boulders scattered throughout the area that only Giant Skylanders can pick up. These boulders create shortcuts across the map, making it easier to collect the ingredients.

Enemies are also present and may obstruct paths or guard ingredient locations, adding an additional layer of challenge. Once all eight ingredients have been collected, the challenge is completed and Batterson can begin baking his strange pie.

Trivia

• The ingredients used in the challenge were also added as food items only seen in Battle Mode in Giants.
• This challenge was originally called Expedition of Extraodinary Ingredients (with "extraordinary" misspelled). Its layout was different and apple trees appeared in place of the challenge's various fruits. In the earliest alpha of Giants, of the challenge's bridges possessed a inexplicable mirror-like property, so that a duplicate of the player's Skylander could be seen performing all of the player's actions.
