Skitterbooms, also known as Spider Swarmers, are tiny, lethal spiders in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, first encountered in the Crawling Catacombs. They attack in swarms, speed-rushing nearby Skylanders before glowing red and exploding into a damaging green cloud. They spawn from Spider Spitters and defeated Gargantulas.
In Skylanders: Giants, they are replaced with Spiderlings, which share the same appearance and attack pattern.

- In the original Wii version of Spyro's Adventure, Skitterbooms are referred to by their original names. While the XPEC console ports (Xbox 360, PS3, and PC) were named Spider Swarmers (including cards).
- In Giants, Spiderlings were originally called by their XPEC name Spider Swarmers.
