Skitterbooms, also known as Spider Swarmers, are tiny, lethal spiders in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, first encountered in the Crawling Catacombs. They attack in swarms, speed-rushing nearby Skylanders before glowing red and exploding into a damaging green cloud. They spawn from Spider Spitters and defeated Gargantulas.
In Skylanders: Giants, they are replaced with Spiderlings, which share the same appearance and attack pattern.

- In the Wii version of Spyro's Adventure, Skitterbooms are referred to by their original names. While the XPEC console ports (Xbox 360, PS3, and PC) were named Spider Swarmers (including cards).
- In some of the alphas of Giants, Spiderlings were originally called by their XPEC name Spider Swarmers.
