Lurchins are massive, round urchins that sleep around the Shellmont Shores. Though at first they appear to be a simple hazard, they wake up when Skylanders come near, and attempt to attack with their spikes. Lurchins can only be attacked and defeated while sleeping.

- Their names and species are similar to the enemies from Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie's Double Trouble of the same name .
