Gumbus is a Mabu who first appeared in Skylanders: Trap Team. He is found on Know-It-All Island where he gives Slobber Trap's Villain Quest that would have him to knock over a stone tile that leads to Gumbus's treasure. At Chompy Mountain, Gumbus gives the villain quest Mildly Irritated Sheep where he needs Sheep Creep to save his fellow sheep from the invading water buffaloes, by launching himself into their defenses.
In Skylanders: Imaginators, Gumbus later appeared in Trouble Town informing the Skylander about Mayor - King - Super King!'s attack on his village.
