Gumbus is a Mabu who first appeared in Skylanders: Trap Team. He is found on Know-It-All Island, where he gives Slobber Trap's Villain Quest called "Gumbus' Fortune'" which involves knocking over a stone tile that lead to treasure. At Chompy Mountain, Gumbus gives Sheep Creep's villain quest called "Mildly Irritated Sheep", where the task is to save his fellow sheep from the invading water buffaloes by launching himself into their defenses.
In Skylanders: Imaginators, Gumbus later appeared in Trouble Town informing the Skylander about Mayor - King - Super King!'s attack on his village.
