The Evil Phoenix Dragon is the evil version of Sunburn and one of Kaos' Minions. He is the second of three bosses at the end of the Lava Lakes Railway level. Evil Phoenix Dragon and the other two minions must be defeated in order to collect the Eternal Fire Source.
The Evil Phoenix Dragon will charge towards the Skylanders before teleporting closer, leaving a burning spot where it will reappear. This spot can damage the Skylanders. Upon emerging, it creates a small explosive burst. It will, once close enough, shoot a stream of flame breath before becoming exhausted.
The Evil Phoenix Dragon makes another appearance in Skylanders: Giants, this time in the Phoenix Rising area of Glacier Gully within the level's Fire Elemental Gate. Accompanied by Enfuego Chompies, it behaves similarly to its appearance in Spyro's Adventure.
Trivia
- He and the Evil Water Dragon are the only evil versions of dragon Skylanders.
- Unlike the other evil Skylanders who appear as multiple enemies in Giants, the Phoenix Dragon only appears as one enemy.
