Roboto Ball was once a popular sport among Arkeyans. Their favorite part was that the roboto-balls themselves have the tendency to explode. Roboto-Ball were originally a sport in the Arkeyan Society which was played with Roboto-Balls. The game was eventually outlawed after repeated incidents of the balls spontaneously exploding. Despite their destructive power, Roboto-balls pose no danger to Skylanders in the games.

In Skylanders: Giants Roboto-Balls are interactive tools that appear in the levels Lost City of Arkus and Bringing Order to Kaos!

They function similarly to Mega Bombs, but are thematically tied to the Arkeyan civilization. Roboto-balls are used to destroy large obstacles such as walls, and can also deal heavy damage to enemies if rolled into them. In Bringing Order to Kaos!, players can summon Roboto-balls by interacting with small Arkeyan tower-like devices, which generate a Roboto-ball over a nearby circular platform.
