Batterson's Pies are a food item unlocked after completing the Darklight Crypt level of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. Batterson tells you that pies are randomly placed all throughout Skylands, but this only really happens in the Wii version of Spyro's Adventure and Giants.
Ghosts also enjoy Batterson's Pies and had stopped tormenting the living because of it.
