Hobson's Choice is a Heroic Challenge in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure and Skylanders: Giants. It is unlocked by Trigger Happy in Spyro's Adventure. It uses the map of the Battlefield and requires the antique vanity to be collected in under three minutes and thirty seconds.
Each section of the map has at least one enemy to defeat. When all enemies in a section have been defeated, two teleporters will appear; taking the correct teleporter will allow the Skylander to advance to the next section, while the wrong teleporter takes the Skylander to a smaller section with more enemies that must be defeated to return to the original two teleporters.

- In Spyro's Adventure, when two teleporters appear in a section, the camera will always center itself on the correct teleporter.
- The Skylander does not need to be in a section to make that section's teleporter(s) appear. For example, a Skylander that can throw projectiles over walls in an arc can defeat enemies in a section that he or she is not currently in; this will reveal the teleporter(s), even though he or she is not in that section.
- In Giants the Mark 31 Troll Tank is replaced by a Chompy Bot 9000.
- Hobson's Choice is the only Heroic Challenge that takes place in rainy weather.
