Skylanders can use mining picks to destroy rock formations in some of the chapters and Heroic Challenges of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. Mining Picks can also be used to attack enemies, but will only deal minor damage. Earth Skylanders and Drill Sergeant do not require mining picks to break rock formations. Mining Picks reappear in Skylanders: Giants in Earth Elemental Zones and in some Heroic Challenges.
