Corn Hornets are insect enemies first seen in Treetop Terrace in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. These hornets shoot painful stingers that temporarily stun Skylanders when hit. A hornet's stinger can be dodged from afar, but is impossible to miss when close. If one's needle gets you, shake the controller as instructed onscreen.

There are clockwork versions of the Corn Hornet who appear as enemies in the Ancient Woods level located in the 3DS version of Skylanders: Swap Force.

Corn Hornets also make an appearance in the Full Blast Skylanders comic, as minions of Cross Crow. Instead of stunning their targets, their stingers cause them to lose consciousness for a short amount of time.
