Volcanic Vault

The Volcanic Vault is an exclusive toy, part of a special sales action at Game (UK) or Best Buy (US), where it was included with the console Starter Pack of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. When the toy is placed on the Portal of Power for the first time, it unlocks the multiplayer Volcanic Vault arena for play in Battle Mode.

The Volcanic Vault arena multiplayer level is a recolor of the Aqueduct. It's exactly the same except for the colors and the fact that it uses lava instead of water.

Usage

In Skylanders: Universe, the item is listed under "Limited Edition Adventure Packs" and is called "The Burning Aqueduct".

In Skylanders: Lost Islands, the Volcanic Vault arena is one of the locations to which Skylanders can adventure. It is unlocked for all Fire Skylanders of Hero Rank 3 and above, and Adventures there take 30 minutes and 130 energy, rewarding 150 Hero Points and 850 Gold.

In Skylanders: Swap Force, instead of opening a new arena, a rain of fireballs will appear, damaging nearby enemies when placed on the portal.

Trivia

• The Volcanic Vault doesn't work on any of the Nintendo 3DS titles, aside from the Magic Item Vaults in SuperChargers: Racing.
• In the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 version of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure the arena has no spectators.
• In the Wii version the spectators are brown scaled Gillmen
• In the preview image for the Volcanic Vault arena, unused black spiders can be seen as spectators.
• Despite being called an adventure pack in Universe and SuperChargers, it is technically a battle pack.
• The Volcanic Vault is also where Spitfire's vehicle, the Hot Streak, was forged.
