In Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure and in Skylanders: Giants, the Skylanders can use bombs to clear obstacles. These include certain walls, Tzo Crystals and rock formations. They can also be used to defeat enemies, as they have a large blast area and deal exactly 100 damage. Bombs are subject to a timer and will detonate when it runs out.
