Elder Root is an Undead Spell Punks disguised as a Treeman who appears in Skylanders: Swap Force. He is encountered in the dual Undead and Life Elemental Gate within the Fantasm Forest. Elder Root asks the Skylanders to rescue his "oldest friend," who he claims is trapped in a graveyard.
As the Skylanders progress, they discover that the "friend" is actually a Life Spell Punk. At the same time, Elder Root reveals his true identity as an Undead Spell Punks, claiming that his mother always told him he ran with the wrong crowd.
