Trivia

- The Winged Sapphire is barricaded by a gate that only evolved Shrednaught can destroy.
- There is an unnamed red Troll who appears halfway through the level. Not much is known about it, but it has similar mechanics to Broccoli Guy and Rage Mages, and it can create force fields around other enemies.
- Vimeo demo reels and Skylanders: Giants behind-the-scenes footage reveal that the Troll used to be a scrapped Skylander, repurposed into a Villain, called Metal Mage. Its original gameplay was repurposed into Rocky Roll.[1]
- Mystic Mill is the only location in Skylands that grows the enchanted wood needed to create Wilikin and Evilikin.
- Mystic Mill's music incorporates some of the melody from Wilikin Village's theme. The optional bridge puzzle part of the level uses a remix of Perilous Pastures's theme, similarly to The Future of Skylands.
- It is possible to jump off a vine bridge in this level's Life Gate and end up trapped in the level geometry below.
