Secret Vault of Secrets is the sixth level in Skylanders: Giants, in which the Skylanders accompany Machine Ghost in his Arkeyan robot body to find the map of Arkus' lost city before Kaos can claim it.

Description

Secret Vault of Secrets takes place in a massive canyon of brown rock, which is flooded by water and blocked by Arkeyan dams. Ancient Arkeyan platforms are constructed along the canyon's sides and walkways ramps have been carved into the rock. Although the structure of the level prevents players from seeing most of its sky, said sky is pale blue with drifting gray-pink clouds, with its bottom being a dusky peach color.

Trivia

• Despite Machine Ghost saying not to shoot the giant Arkeyan robots because it will not get you anywhere, they still lose health if you shoot while they are vulnerable.
• The Arkeyans, who have a tendency to forget things, forgot that they put the Map to Arkus in the underground Secret Vault of Secrets.
• During development, the Vault was originally conceived as an abandoned airship made of stone.
• Skylanders can run up the canyon wall at a certain point in the level (as demonstrated here) and drop down into the canyon itself. The canyon's bottom can be traversed like usual on foot, although it results in a softlock since there is no way to advance the level from here.
• Secret Vault of Secrets is the only level in Skylanders to end with a character's death.
• Secret Vault of Secrets appears to have been one of the last levels developed in Giants. In the earliest alpha versions of Giants, most of the other levels' visual appearances are complete, but Secret Vault of Secret lacks texturing on its dams and its canyons have not yet been filled with water. Several of its mechanics are broken, some of its platforms and collision boundaries are missing, and its collectibles, NPCs, area names, and ground enemies are absent entirely.
• The level's placeholder name was Giant Robot Battle.
• The Arkeyan Jousters that fend off the Bark Demon use the same animations as the Arkeyan Duelists' alpha version.
