Arkeyan War Machines are large mechanical constructs that were left dormant after the defeat of the Arkeyans and the deactivation of the Iron Fist of Arkus.

After the Skylander restores power to the Arkeyan Armory in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, they must pilot an Arkeyan War Machine to navigate through the Halls of Molten Lava. Only one enemy War Machine is encountered and must be defeated to proceed. These machines are impervious to lava, as demonstrated when traversing the Halls.

In Skylanders: Giants, the player once again pilots a War Machine in the Secret Vault of Secrets, which is haunted by the Machine Ghost. Multiple enemy War Machines also appear in this level, seemingly piloted by Arkeyan Ultrons. They later appear in the background of Autogyro Adventure and Bringing Order to Kaos!

In Skylanders: Trap Team, Mags uses a salvaged blue War Machine to fight against the Sky Pirates in Skyhighlands.

Trivia

  • The Machine of Doom in the novel of the same name, has the same design as the Arkeyan War Machines.
  • When an enemy Arkeyan War Machine is defeated in Giants, scraps of Arkeyan Ultrons are seen shooting out of the cockpit, implying that they are piloting them.
  • Arkeyan War Machines are usually red, but there are at least two blue Arkeyan War Machines, which are owned by Ermit and Mags.
