Leo is a young Portal Master from Earth who appears in Skylanders Trap Team: The Discovery. In the trailer, he and his younger sister Madeline discovered the Trap Masters and many Traps in their Uncle Peter's house, and use these figures to not only send the Skylanders back home, but help them capture villains and turn them to the side of good.
Story
Skylanders Trap Team: The Discovery
Leo and his sister Madeline were staying at their Uncle Peter's house when Leo decided to go into a room the two siblings were forbidden from entering. Despite Madeline's protests, Leo continued to investigate the room, leading to him discovering many Skylanders: Trap Team figures and a Traptanium Portal hidden away under a tarp. Leo would then use the Traptanium Portal to send Snap Shot back to Skylands. A visage created by the portal allowed him to witness Snap Shot's return to Skylands and meet the Skylanders, something that left the boy awestruck.
When Wallop and Food Fight brought up the need for Traps, Leo and Madeline would scour the entire room in search for them. Ultimately, it was Leo who found the case containing all the Traps, and would later use one of those Traps to capture Wolfgang and turn him to the side of good. After Snap Shot prompted Leo and Madeline for more Traps, Leo retrieved a Kaos Trap from the case, shocking the Skylanders.
Trivia
- Leo and Madeline being siblings specifically is not actually mentioned at any point in the trailer itself, which only states that they have a shared uncle. Their relation to each other was formally confirmed by the press release 72andSunny, the advertising company that helped develop The Discovery, put out regarding the trailer's release.
- He and Madeline were the first named Earth Portal Masters besides the player in Skylanders history, and prior to Skylanders: Ring of Heroes, the only ones.
- He and Madeline are the only named characters in the Skylanders franchise to be portrayed exclusively in live-action.
