- “It's Party Time!”
- – Fiesta's official catchphrase
Fiesta is a mariachi band leader who is one of the Undead SuperChargers in Skylanders: SuperChargers. His signature vehicle is the Crypt Crusher.
Character Development
Fiesta came about when one of the audio designers for SuperChargers had an idea of a character power revolving around summoning minions that would play music along with the character.[1] Vicarious Visions wanted to create a character that was on the party side of the Undead element and heavily influenced by other cultures.
Background
Personality
Although he comes from The Underworld, Fiesta is more free-spirited than most of its undead inhabitants. He enjoys striking up parties as all who are good are invited (even if they go unannounced).
Biography
Despite being undead, Fiesta had always been the life of the party. He was once the head member of a popular mariachi band in the personal court of Count Moneybone, who all undead citizens respected immensely. In his spare time, Fiesta and his bandmates played music for all of the new arrivals that entered the Underworld. However, a day came when the new arrivals were actually several Skylanders, who had come on a mission to stop Count Moneybone from unleashing a robot army on all of Skylands. Fiesta then realized that he, like so many others, had been fooled by the evil Count into thinking he was kind and generous – not the vengeful monster he truly was. Unbeknownst to the Skylanders, Fiesta and his bandmates helped to distract the robot army so they could infiltrate Moneybone’s mansion and put a stop to him. Even though the Skylanders were unaware, this act of bravery and defiance did catch the attention of Master Eon, who recruited him at once.
Story
Rift into Overdrive
When strange rifts started appearing around Skylands, non-Skylanders Fiesta and Dive-Clops were called by their friends, Spitfire and Stormblade, to help investigate the cause. They arrived in their vehicles to aid Spitfire and Stormblade soon after they both saved Skylanders, Stealth Elf, Terrafin, Gill Grunt and Jet-Vac, from a rift in Know-It-All Island. When Stealth Elf was concerned about the four non-Skylanders wanting to help look for the Rift Engines, Fiesta pointed out that since the rifts threaten everyone in Skylands, the monstrosities don't care whether he and his friends were Skylanders or not. The Skylanders then allowed the SuperChargers to aid them after their only means of transportation, the Dread-Yacht, was consumed by the rift.
The Stone Head's last cryptic message lead the Skylanders and SuperChargers to the Whirlpool of Destiny. While the land Skylanders and SuperChargers held off a group of Dark Drow warriors, Dive-Clops and Gill Grunt dove to the underwater depths of the Swirling Sea to find the Rift Engines. The Dark Drow were beginning to overpower the group until Gill Grunt and Dive-Clops succeeded in hauling a massive chest to the surface that contained the Rift Engines inside. With the power of the Rift Engines, Stealth Elf, Jet-Vac, Gill Grunt and Terrafin transformed into SuperChargers and easily overwhelmed the attacking Drow forces.
Now having enough Rift Engines to stop Kaos and his latest plan, the Skylanders invited Fiesta and the SuperChargers to become Skylanders, to which they eagerly accepted.
Dive, Dive, Dive!
Relationships
Amigos
The three ghostly bandmates support and assist Fiesta in his battle against the forces of evil.
Count Moneybone
Like all the undead residents of The Underworld, Fiesta greatly respected Count Moneybone when they believed he was a kind and generous ruler. When the Skylanders revealed that Moneybone was a vengeful monster, Fiesta and his bandmates turned against the Count by holding back Moneybone's clockwork army so that the Skylanders can infilitrate the villain's fortress.
Even when facing his former ruler in SuperChargers Issue #4, Fiesta proclaimed that he didn't betray Count Moneybone, but only saved Skylands from him, and that their latest battle against one another would be no different.

Sinister Symphony, by
Chris Seaman.
Trivia
- Fiesta's character design is inspired by the Day of the Dead, a Mexican holiday where family and friends pray for and remember friends and family members who died.
- Fiesta is voiced by Carlos Alazraqui, who voiced Hot Dog in Skylanders: Giants and Duff in Skylanders: Swap Force.
- Fiesta and his Amigos are based on the glowing skeleton enemies seen in the Undead Fiesta in the 3DS version of Swap Force, making him the first Skylander based on a 3DS only species.
- Fiesta was one of the expansion characters planned for Skylanders: Battlecast, with a single known card, Sinister Symphony. However, because of the ending of the game's development, he was scrapped.
- Fiesta was a character planned for the Skylanders Academy's second Season and would've been the first SuperCharger to appear, but he was cut due to budget reasons. It is unknown if he will make an appearance in a future season.[2]
