The SuperChargers are a group of Skylanders in Skylanders: SuperChargers that are trained to pilot the most powerful vehicles in Skylands, using the power of the Rift Engines to enhance their own powers and their vehicles'. Certain SuperChargers are previous Skylanders that, upon coming into contact with Rift Engines, were given new appearances and abilities.
When a SuperCharger hops into his or her signature vehicle, it becomes SuperCharged, gaining a new appearance, a damage boost and other perks.

Trivia
- In the game cutscene featuring the SuperChargers, their signature vehicles don't change into their SuperCharged forms despite being driven by their respective riders.
- The SuperChargers are illustrated in the books about The Darkness in the Spell Punk Library as the Skylanders that fought the evil centuries ago, despite the illustrations taking place in a far earlier time period.
- The SuperChargers are the first team of Skylanders to consist of returning Skylanders from previous titles.
- None of the reposed SuperChargers originated from Trap Team.
- All of the reposed SuperChargers are completely incompatible with previous games.
- None of the reposed SuperChargers originated from Trap Team.
- Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and Hammer Slam Bowser are the only SuperChargers whose elements don't match with their respective Vehicles.
- In addition, they're the only ones with words that don't have matching first letters in their name unlike the returning Skylanders as SuperChargers, not counting variants.
- The new characters introduced as Superchargers are all Skylanders recruited after the events of Trap Team, including as a direct result of events that happened in previous games. They are also part of the first namesake group to have been recruited after the events of Spyro's Adventure; though the Minis were trained and officially accepted between Swap Force and Trap Team.
- In very early concepts of SuperChargers and their vehicles, Magna Charge, Free Ranger and Spyro were possible candidates before the vehicle types were decided on.
- With exception of Thrillipede and almost all the reposed Skylanders, all the SuperChargers were playable in Skylanders: Ring of Heroes.
