Break the Cats is a Heroic Challenge in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure and Skylanders: Giants. It is unlocked by Zap in Spyro's Adventure. It uses a map similar in design to Leviathan Lagoon and requires 9 cat statues to be destroyed in under four minutes and thirty seconds. This Heroic Challenge is noted in-game for its very hard difficulty.
Nine cat statues must be destroyed before time runs out. Breaking a single vase reduces the amount of time left by a staggering 10 seconds. The Skylander must by very careful when using explosive, uncontrollable, or random shots, as well as helpers (like Double Trouble's doubles or Sonic Boom's babies). It should be noted that enemies can also destroy these vases, so these should be dealt with as soon as possible before they inconveniently destroy anything.
Some cat statues are elevated by tall wooden platforms, and there are Bombs provided to destroy them. Teleporters take the Skylander to different sections of the map, where other cat statues may be located.

Trivia
- Some Skylanders can destroy the first cat statue before Cali begins her opening dialogue. If this happens, the camera gets stuck on a close-up of where the statue was, until the dialogue ends. After this, the Skylander is free to move, even during the initial countdown.
- Some Drow Witches may get stuck in corners while moving, preventing them from actually attacking the Skylander, and sometimes forcing them to move extremely quickly if they get unstuck.
