- Flashwing is voiced by Tara Strong, who also voices Timmy Turner from The Fairly Oddparents, Raven from Teen Titans, Ben Tennyson from the original Ben 10 series and Ben 10: Omniverse, Omi from Xiolin Showdown, and Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
- She also bears a resembalence to Rarity from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
- Like Sunburn, despite having wings, she is unable to fly in-game.
- She bears the Earth element emblem on her chest. She and Crusher are also the only Earth skylanders to have the symbol on their bodies.
- She, Whirlwind, and Cynder are currently the only female dragons in the series.
- They are also the only dragons who have no teeth.
- She and Prism Break are the only Skylanders who attack with crystals.
