Flashwing is a gem dragoness who is one of the Skylanders in Skylanders: Giants. She is of the Earth element.
Background
Biography
Flashwing's true origins are a mystery. But her first appearance came when Bash made a wish that he could fly and looked up to see a shooting star streak across the sky and in a valley below. In the centre of the glowing impact crater was a large, brilliant geode - which suddenly cracked open to reveal Flashwing. Bash may not have soared that day, but his heart sure did, because Flashwing was beautiful... and lethal. As soon as Bash stepped closer, the gem dragon turned towards him. Not knowing if he was friend or foe, she blasted him off of the cliff with a full force laser pulse from her tail! Perhaps Bash flew that day after all.

- Flashwing is voiced by Tara Strong, who also voices Timmy Turner from The Fairly Oddparents, Raven from Teen Titans, Ben Tennyson from the original Ben 10 series and Ben 10: Omniverse, Omi from Xiolin Showdown, and Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
- Like Sunburn, despite having wings, she is unable to fly in-game.
- She bears the Earth element emblem on her chest. She and Crusher are also the only Earth skylanders to have the symbol on their bodies.
- She, Whirlwind, and Cynder are the only female dragons. They are also the only dragons who have no teeth.
- She and Prism Break are the only Skylanders who attack with crystals. They are also both the only Earth skylanders that attack with lasers.
- In her original prototype photo for her toy form, she is shown to have yellow claws. In the final version her claws are purple.
- She is the only one of the eight newcomers in Giants who is a dragon.
- Flashwing is also the first dragon to be in an element with another (the other being Bash).
