Smolderdash is one of the new Core Skylanders in Skylanders: Swap Force. She is of the Fire element.
Background
Biography
Smolderdash had always wanted to be a royal defender of the Fire Temple - home of the First Flame, a sacred torch that had been ignited by the original Fire Source. Unfortunately, she had been born during an eclipse and was believed by her people to be cursed, which prevented her from such an honor. But when Kaos stole the flame and used it to light the candles on his birthday cake, it was Smolderdash who went after it. Blazing like a comet, she dashed into Kaos' Lair, repelled the troll security force with her flaming whip, and retrieved the sacred flame just before Kaos blew out the candles. Smolderdash returned home as a champion of her people and was finally granted the honor of becoming a royal defender. But she graciously declined, having set a new goal for herself - to help fight against Kaos as a member of the Skylanders.
Story
History
Raised on an island of nearly perfect creatures, Smolderdash had longed to join the Skylanders. In order to prove her worth, her goal was to be crowned Champion of the Great Games. However, being the only daughter of the Queen, she was deemed "too important" to compete. Undeterred, Smolderdash decided to enter the Great Games wearing a mask. She courageously bested every competitor in the the most dangerous and demanding events - ultimately earning the title of Champion. Removing her mask, Smolderdash proved to everyone that even "royalty" could be of service. As it turned out, Flameslinger was in attendance at the games. Impressed by her amazing abilities and strong character, he brought Smolderdash to Master Eon, who fulfilled her dream of becoming a Skylander.[2]

Trivia
- Smolderdash is the first female Fire Skylander in the series.
- Her name is a play on 'boulderdash', a word meaning proposterous or rubbish.
- Her voice actress, Grey DeLisle, is very well known for doing Vicky from The. Fairly OddParents, Mandy from The. Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Kitty Katswell from T.U.F.F. Puppy, Daphne Blake from the later Scooby-Doo series, and Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Ironically, both Smolderdash and Azula both possesses fiery powers.
- Her LightCore figure in-game slightly resembles Yang Xiao Long from RWBY as both of their hair glow gold.
- She resembles the Flame Guard from Adventure Time.
- like Lightning Rod's history, Smolderdash's history is different from her story.
