“Slice and Dice!”
– Chop Chop's official catchphrase
Chop Chop is an Arkeyan warrior and one of the Skylanders in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. He is of the Undead element. He has a Legendary counterpart called Legendary Chop Chop that was exclusive to the Legendary Pack available only at Toys 'R' Us. His Series 3 Skylander is called Twin Blade Chop Chop.
As an Arkeyan elite, Chop Chop's appearance is based around the elements of Undead and Tech. His body is mostly comprised of what appears to be human bones and blue, metal armor. He wears a blue breastplate with golden trimming that matches his gloves and boots. His head appears to be modeled after a human skull only with a pair of yellow, featureless eyes that match the spot on his forehead and his mouth, and a gold trimmed crest on top. He wields a steel sword and shield as part of his moveset.
Personality
With his skeletal frame, cold voice, and tremendous abilities, Chop Chop is often assumed to be a bit of a frightening fellow. In truth, he is a very frightening fellow. Despite that however, he appears to possess a sense of honor, as shown by his dedication to finding those who created him.
Biography
Chop Chop was once an elite warrior belonging to the ancient race of Arkeyan beings. Like many of the Arkeyans, he was created from a hybrid of elements - in his case, undead magic and technology. Chop Chop is a relentless, highly-skilled solider who wields a sword and shield made of an indestructible metal. With the Arkeyans having vanished long ago, Chop Chop wandered Skylands for centuries looking for his creators. Eventually, he was found by Eon and recruited as a Skylander.
Story
History
Centuries ago, the Giants of Skylands united in battle against the ruling Arkeyans. All that was left of the Arkeyans were their machines, toiling away evermore. One of those machines was Chop Chop, the last in a line of elite guards. But Chop Chop got fed up. There's nothing more tedious than being an Undead machine. It never seemed to end! So he stomped up to the surface to seek out new orders. Chop Chop wandered for centuries without a creator or a clue. Until that is, he stumbled upon another 'last of his kind'; Master Eon. No sooner had they met, Chop Chop's indestructible sword and shield were put to good use in the battle to protect the universe.[1]
Gameplay
As a Skylander that uses sword and
shield, Chop Chop can both fight and defend himself. Chop Chop can swing
his sword in varying combos to attack enemies in front of him, and raising his
shield will reduce damage taken from incoming attacks and reflect projectiles.
After a few basic upgrades, he can perform a shield bash attack and unleash
Bone Brambles that attack enemies directly in front of him for a distance. He
can also upgrade his sword so that enemies defeated by it leave behind orbs that
will heal him.
Choosing the Vampiric Warrior path
allows further upgrading to Chop Chop's Arkeyan Blade, catering towards a more
aggressive if not reckless "high risk, high reward" play style. Not
only can the sword be upgraded to do lots of damage, but Chop Chop can also
learn 2 new combo attacks: Arkeyan Cyclone and Arkeyan Leap, both of which act
as extensions to his sword mastery. When he wields the 'Demon Blade of the
Underworld,' he has a much longer reach and can deal lots of damage. This
upgrade path is well suited to his Series 3 variant.
Choosing the Undead Defender path
allows further upgrading to Chop Chop's Arkeyan Shield, catering towards a more
patient "a good offense is a great defense" play style. Upgrading the
shield allows Chop Chop to stun enemies when he charges them with it, and also
deal more damage the more the shield has absorbed. When he wields the 'Demon
Shield of the Shadows,' if the shield absorbs enough damage, it will
automatically unleash it in front of him for a short distance. This path is
well suited to his Series 2 variant.

He slightly resembles both Sir Daniel Fortesque from the MedEvil series and Spinal from the Killer Instinct series, as all three are skeletons that wield swords and shields.
In Giants, his voice actor is Steven Blum, who is also the voice of Auric, Vathek, Tuk, and Enigma, as well as Wolverine in current Wolverine games including X-Men Origins: Wolverine The Video Game, Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and Deadpool: The Game. Blum was also the voice actor for Crash Bandicoot and Emperor Velo XXVII in Crash Nitro Kart, with the latter being the game's main antagonist.
Series 1 Chop Chop has translucent jewelry and coins on his pedestal, where as his Series 2 and 3 counterparts do not. He is also the only Skylander to have a specific design on his base that no other Skylander posseses, with the exception of Kaos.
As he is an Arkeyan, several enemies and statues in their dwellings have helmets that resemble Chop Chop's.
As a Series 3 figure, he has shoulder pads with spikes. However, in the game, they don't show up on him or are related to any upgrades, even after obtaining his Wow Pow.
Even though his Series 3 artwork and figure forms have identical swords, in the game, the sword in his right hand doesn't change its appearance while performing his Wow Pow.
During Wow Pow (Series 3) a small glitch can occur, where Chop Chop holds both blades in his hand. When trying to block, he will use the second blade instead, holding it in a crooked way. It will fix itself if you perform the Wow Pow again. This glitch happens in Skylanders: Swap Force.
