  • Blast Zone bears a slight resemblance to the Arkeyans.
    • He also bears a resemblance to the Fire Skylander, Ignitor, as both Skylanders are composed of flames and wear armor.
  • Early concepts of Blast Zone depict him as an armored flame spirit with a horned, bull-like head, or alternatively as a technological golem that launched bombs from holes in his arms.[2]
  • Blast Zone's early name was "Blast Off."[3]
  • His catchphrase is a play on "Fast and Furious."
  • Blast Zone is voiced by Jess Harnell, who is best known for voicing Captain Hero from Drawn Together, Wakko Warner from Animaniacs, Ironhide from the Transformers films and Cedric in Sofia the First, and is the current voice actor for Crash Bandicoot.
  • Blast Zone looks similar to the Fire Geargolems, except that Fire Geargolems are larger and look more robotic.
  • When on Blast Zone's Ignition path, any projectiles used by Skylanders that pass through his wall of fire will catch fire just like his bombs do and deal 12% extra damage.
