The Arkeyan War Machines are large mechanical machines that were laid dormant within the Arkeyan Armory in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. After the Skylanders restored power to the Armory, they must pilot an Arkeyan War Machine to navigate their way through the Halls of Molten Fire.
Only one Arkeyan War Machine has been encountered and needs to be defeated in order to move on. The machines are impervious to lava, as seen when you are walking through the Halls of Molten Fire.
In Skylanders: Giants, the player can control again an Arkeyan War Machine in Secret Vault of Secrets. They also appear as NPCs in Arkeyan-related levels. In Secret Vault of Secrets, there are also some Arkeyan War Machines, which the player must destroy.
